Now that your session date is confirmed (YAY!),  you should start planning for it right now! This means you decide on a desired color scheme and plan coordinated outfits. When your outfits match, your photos will feel more cohesive.

Session day can be stressful and exciting, but I promise there is nothing to be nervous about! All I ask is that you come prepared, stay open-minded, and trust that I will take care of the rest! I recommend arriving 5-10 minutes early since sessions are back.

step 02: Session day

Once I have collected your finished photos, I will place them inside my gallery portal and send you a direct link to your own photo gallery. From this portal, you can purchase and download your keepsake photos.

03.

If you have simple retouching (editing out a scratch or scrape, removing a stray hair, correcting a blemish) on a few photos, I'm happy to do that upon request. Any advanced editing, or editing on more than 3 images, will be outsourced and the vendor's standard rate will be charged.

06. Do you provide retouching on photos?

Here is a list of some things you may want to consider bringing: wet wipes, waters for the whole family, a favorite toy or comfort item, a brush or comb, and touch up makeup. If it is cold, hand warmers and blankets are a good idea as well!

05. Should we bring anything to our session?

I love it when families include their animals in their sessions! Just be sure they are well behaved, leashed and that you bring treats to help hold their interest! Since mini sessions are short, it may be better to schedule a full session if you want your furry friend involved! If you do have a well behaved dog and can't imagine your mini without them, just be sure to check in with me beforehand. Not all locations allow animals!

04. Can we bring our furry family members?

I'll load your photos and prepare preview images for you within 24 hours of our time together! After about 2 weeks you'll receive a link to your full gallery! You can download and order prints right from your gallery! I'll also be sharing on social media, unless you request I keep your photos private.

03. After our session, what should we expect?

If it is pouring rain, or if the temps are below freezing, we will absolutely reschedule. If someone in your family is sick, please let me know as soon as possible. I will make every effort to get clients rescheduled in these situations. Last minute cancellations for other reasons may not qualify for reschedules.

02. What is your rescheduling policy?

Kids typically feed off the energy of the parents. If you are upbeat,  positive, relaxed and happy, they may just follow suit! That said, I'm a mom of 3 and a former preschool teacher, and realize all kids have bad days! I encourage silliness, games and snuggles to help break the tension and to encourage your kids to be themselves!

01. Do you have tips for helping kids cooperate?
